Actions speak louder than words
With this passion to serve we provide help, support and comfort to those in need to improve their lives. In Britain we continue to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds each year for British charities including:
Our activities have always been well received and been acknowledged by many including Her Royal Highness Princess Anne who awarded us the Princes Royal Certificate of thanks for our support to Save the Children.
Also in the foyer of the Great Ormond Street Hospital there is a plaque acknowledging the contribution of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association to its cause.
Outside of the UK we provide disaster relief, energy, clean water and long-term education and medical facilities to people in the developed and the developing world. All of this is regardless of colour, creed or race, and is because of our desire to live up to our motto of Love for All, Hatred for None.
In the case of major UK charities, the community provides financial and volunteer resource, it also provides a global volunteer resource – including specialists in the field of medicine, engineering, teaching , logistics – to its primary charity, Humanity First.
Throughout the UK, at local community groups of Ahmadis support various local charities and volunteer groups. If you are a charity or group, that would like to tap into the volunteer base of this community, feel free to contact us with your requirements.
