The starter packs fall under the National Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Cheap & Easy Cooking campaign that aims to provide ready to cook meals in pre- packed boxes with recipe books.
The meals were handed to Slough Outreach who distributed them to those in need.
The Ahmadiyya women’s auxiliary also donated hats, gloves and scarves for the homeless.
Ahmadiyya president Atiq Ahmad Bhatti said: “As Muslims, service to humanity is our duty and given the challenge of food poverty the campaign aims to make tasty and healthy meals more accessible to those in need during this Christmas period. We will continue to do our utmost to help support the vulnerable in these times of great need.”
