Newcastle Ahmadiyya Muslim Women Association’s Food Donation

Newcastle Ahmadiyya Muslim Women’s association donated food items to a Hindu temple. Ladies collected food items from their social circle and dropped it off at the Hindu Temple in Newcastle on behalf of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Women’s association. They appreciated this effort and messaged the women’s association stating ‘Thanks a lot to you all on behalf of temple. You all always support the community. Much appreciated’.

Newcastle Women’s association made donation of 71 Food items to Gateshead Food Bank.

Food donation to FODI Food Bank

Newcastle Women’s association made a food donation to a local charity called FODI (Friends of the Drop In for Asylum Seekers and Refugees in Sunderland) in Sunderland. FODI aims to improve the mental health and well-being of the asylum-seeking and refugee community of Sunderland. In doing so they hope to lessen their social isolation and promote their integration into the wider community, by supporting and extending the activities of the Drop-In currently run on Wednesday afternoons and providing food parcels to destitute Asylum seekers.

Food Boxes to Neighbours

Newcastle Women’s association delivered food boxes to neighbours to extend their friendship. Around 100 items were packed in the boxes.
