Muslim volunteers to hand out food to Huddersfield homeless on Christmas Day

Members of a Yorkshire Muslim group will gather in Huddersfield town centre on Christmas Day to help homeless people.

Organised by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association Huddersfield, the project will see volunteers handing out vital supplies including food and clothing.

Volunteers will gather in Huddersfield Market Place between 12 and 3pm on Christmas Day.

“Although we do not celebrate Christmas, we fully understand that this is a very emotional time for many people.”
