Huddersfield Muslims Deliver Hampers to Key Workers

In January 2021, youths from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association, Huddersfield prepared many hampers and delivered them to key workers. This included staff at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, the local fire station and to a nursing home.

Sikander Mahmood, the regional youth leader said: “Young Ahmadi Muslims, took time out to try and make a difference to the lives of so many elderly who are shielding.

“The youth have been delivering hampers with food and everyday essentials over the last few days.

“Even children have taken part in buying essential items that were required by key workers and in delivering the items to various places in Yorkshire.”
