Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad expresses his hope that a new upcoming Holy Quran website proves to be a source of enlightenment and knowledge for people across the world
On 21 November 2020, members of the Alislam.org team (official website of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community) were granted a virtual official meeting and audience with the World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the Fifth Khalifa (Caliph), His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad.
His Holiness presided the meeting from his office in Islamabad, Tilford, whilst the AlIslam team joined from the Baitur Rahman Mosque in Silver Spring, Maryland which serves as the National Headquarters of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in the United States.
During the 50 minute meeting, the AlIslam team had the opportunity to present a series of presentations regarding a new project related to the Holy Quran, as well as developments to the existing AlIslam website and to receive the guidance and instructions of His Holiness.
The AlIslam team had the opportunity to show His Holiness a test version of a new online website and search engine dedicated to the Holy Quran to be launched in the near future. The new website will seek to make reading and studying the Holy Quran as easy and accessible as possible for people across the world.
His Holiness instructed that efforts should be made to ensure that the Holy Quran website and search engine proves not only to be a resource for Ahmadi Muslims but proves to be a great resource and source of knowledge and enlightenment for other Muslims and non-Muslims around the world.
In addition, various updates to the AlIslam website were presented, including a new section relating to the companions of the Holy Prophet of Islam (peace and blessings be upon him).
At the conclusion of the meeting, His Holiness appreciated the efforts of all the members of the AlIslam team and prayed for their future success.
Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad said:
“May Allah the Almighty bless you and increase your knowledge and wisdom. Amin.”
