Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Edinburgh and Fife Delivered Snacks to NHS Staff

COVID testing and vaccine staff were fuelled for the task ahead thanks to a thoughtful donation of snacks. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community came together and delivered healthy snacks to the coronavirus vaccination and testing centres in Duloch.

They also made a donation of goods to Dunfermline Foodbank at their Rosyth centre.

The organisation in Fife also gave out dozens of meals over Christmas to locals at homeless shelters and continue to make donations at James Bank Hostel and Segal House in Dunfermline on a weekly basis.

Volunteers from the international charity Humanity First in Scotland also delivered healthy snacks to the COVID testing centre at the Dell Farquharson community hall.

Dr Abdul Hayee, vice-president of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Edinburgh and Fife branch and ambassador for Humanity First said: “Volunteers helped out as a small gesture of thanks for the hard work done by the test and protect team there. They have been really appreciated.”
