Charitable work in the community

TILFORD, Farnham, Haslemere and Elstead branches of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Assocation (AMYA) have been busy doing charitable work for their local communities.

The residents of Islamabad, a small community based in Tilford, led by members of the Women’s Auxillary Organisation of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and supported by AMYA, collected more than 100kg of non-perishable food to donate to the Trussell Trust Food Bank in Union Road in Farnham.

Members from all four branches also gathered in Farnham for a street-cleaning session in preparation for Farnham in Bloom.

The group included eight members of the youth association aged from seven to 15, and they worked together to clean South Street, East Street, Castle Street, Borelli Walk and Downing Street.
